'DOC' BALDOCK may be still in Des Tuddenham's Collingwood guernsey in St Kilda's dressing rooms after the 1966 grand final victory, but he is a Saint to the core.

Rare archival footage shows an exhausted Baldock returning to the rooms as the cup is shared around by the St Kilda players.

With tissue paper stuffed into his nose to stop bleeding, an emotional Baldock describes the premiership win as "something tremendous".

He pays tribute to his teammates, suggesting that "every boy" showed "pure guts, if I may say that".
