VETERAN midfielder Shane Tuck has signed a one-year contract extension with Richmond.
Tuck, 30, played every game with the Tigers in 2012 and finished fourth in the club's best-and-fairest award.
His career had appeared on the slide, and he was seen as out of favour with coach Damien Hardwick, but his revival this season was nothing short of sensational.
Tuck averaged 26.2 disposals a match this year, with a season-high 35 against Hawthorn in round nine.

He was ranked No. 1 at the club for contested possessions (298), centre clearances (123) and tackles (124), and third for total disposals (576), inside-50 entries (104), effective disposals (427) and marks (117).
Tuck was ranked No. 6 in the AFL for tackles, No. 7 for contested possessions and No. 8 for clearances.
"Shane has worked as hard as anyone to earn his place in the Richmond team and the consistency of his performances this year has been outstanding," football manager Craig Cameron said on Wednesday.
"Shane's ability to win the ball and bring his teammates into the play has been integral to the improvement shown by the entire midfield group this year."
Tuck has played 162 games for Richmond and has kicked 69 goals.
