The club seeks the services of a General Manager to grow its existing sponsor and supporter base at Coburg while leading the expected expansion through the region.
Reporting to the club’s board of directors the successful applicant will also be expected to continue to build the relationship with our AFL aligned partner, Richmond Football Club and our TAC cup alignment with Calder Cannons.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
• Financial management, region development, sponsorship, marketing and media liaison.
• Maintenance and responsibility for the relationship with AFLVictoria and the required rules and conduct of the club
• Management and direction of staff (where applicable) and coordination with general activities on match day.
• Supporting the Football Department through the Football Manager, coaching and support staff.
While experience in football administration is desirable, it is imperative that the successful applicant be a self-starter and highly organised. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with key sponsors and supporter groups is essential.
