ST KILDA'S Brendon Goddard and Western Bulldog Josh Hill have accepted the penalties handed to them by the AFL's match review panel on Monday.

Hill was offered a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record for bumping or making forceful front-on contact on Geelong's Andrew Mackie in last Friday night's preliminary final.

Goddard received an identical penalty, but for striking Hawthorn captain Sam Mitchell in Saturday night's clash.

Hill, 19, played 18 games in 2008 for a career total of 19, while Goddard added 23 to take his numbers to 113.

The seasons of both players ended with the weekend's outcomes, as Hawthorn and Geelong prepare to do battle in the 2008 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
