“It’s been a fantastic journey but I feel the need to seek new challenges in the coming future and expand my professional boundaries,” Turk said.
“I have a lot of great friends at North Melbourne and have amazing relationships with all the players but it’s time for me to move on.
“I wish all the players the very best and I am confident the club will achieve some more success in the near future.”
Turk took over as head Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2006 and has been an integral part of the ongoing development of the club’s young list of players.
“Paul has been first-class in his role as Strength and Conditioning Coach. His work ethic is second to none and his dedication has been superb,” North Chief of Football Donald McDonald said.
“Paul will be an outstanding asset to whichever organisation he joins next and we wish him well for the future and thank him for his outstanding efforts over the past five years.”
“In all my time in football, I have never seen anyone with the level of commitment that Paul has,” North coach Brad Scott said.
“Paul has helped lay a terrific foundation for our young players and has been instrumental in setting the expectations of North Melbourne’s high performance culture.”
