Following on from Friday’s nail bitting win against an up and coming Melbourne side, the vast majority (75%) of Western Bulldogs fans still believe the Club can make the top four.
The Bulldogs are yet to hit top form in 2010 but it is important to remember we are competing in a marathon and not a sprint.
There is no doubt the side has room to improve on its performances so far but we need to recognise just how even the AFL competition has become and that there are no easy games.
This week we travel to Canberra to take on a Sydney Swans side on the rebound. It’s no secret that the Swan’s put a lot of focus on winning the stoppages around the ground so it’s going to be a real test for our midfield which is still missing some key players.
Barry Hall is also sure to be the focus of plenty of media attention this week but rest assured the Club will not lose focus on what is a formidable opponent.
Nothing short of our best will be good enough this week and the Club is looking forward to the challenge.
In this week’s poll we are asking, should All Australian defender Brian Lake spend more time up forward?
