My best Eagles moment apart from Grand Final wins and some great on field performances has to be the time that I went to the Witches Cauldron for our Christmas lunch with work. When we arrived the upstairs balcony was setup for a luncheon with Eagles Flags flying proudly.

We were all seated inside the restaurant and were curious as to what the celebration might be that was going on outside on the balcony, I was getting a ribbing from my workmates to go out and check it out as I am undoubtedly the most one eyed vocal Eagles fan in my workplace.

Well during the course of the day, Rob Wiley wandered through to use the amenities, one of the girls I work with used to live next door to Rob and he stopped to chat. My friend called me over to meet Rob. It turns out it was a lunch for Rob as he was leaving the Eagles. I thought it was pretty good to meet him and chat and wished him well for the future after Eagles.

As the day went on, the Eagles crew got up to leave. As they walked through I spied Woosha with the boys, as he approached he came up to say Hi. I was beside myself meeting “The Man” my all time favourite Eagle. John was especially nice and posed for a photo with me and took some ribbing from the Dockers supporters that I work with.

So apart from crying at the finals loses and crying with excitement at the Grand Final Wins this is my
most memorable Eagles moment.
