Marketing and Ticketing Coordinator - Corporate
The Brisbane Lions A.F.C, arguably the AFL's most successful team and brand over the last decade, is seeking to appoint a talented and dedicated Marketing and Ticketing Coordinator - Corporate to become a key member of the Consumer Business team. The Brisbane Lions A.F.C has diverse service offerings, an ever increasing profile and strong brand.
Reporting to the Marketing and Ticketing Manager, this brand new opportunity will be responsible for coordinating campaign activity for the Brisbane Lions with a specific focus on corporate growth, whilst simultaneously maintaining and championing the integrity of our brand. This fantastic opportunity is highly varied and includes working across a wide range of facets including consumer marketing, sponsorship, corporate and events. A key responsibility of the role will be to activate strategies to:
- Engage and build strong consumer support for the Lions
- Promote corporate based products for the Club across sponsorship, hospitality, match days and events
- Engage and build loyal corporate support for the Club through growth in brand awareness
- Meet annual corporate database growth targets
- Support solid retail ticket sales for match days
- Support retention and acquisition targets, together with our creative agency
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified, and have previous experience in leveraging and activation of strategic plans, and providing measurement and evaluation with a view to step changing future campaigns. Sound knowledge of the sponsorship landscape is essential whilst exposure to brand guidelines and their application, as well as exposure to corporate hospitality, would be highly advantageous. Using your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, you should have the ability to develop relationships quickly across a broad range of stakeholders. You must be highly organised with solid time management skills and outstanding attention to detail. You should be a creative individual with the ability to think on your feet and hit the ground running with the confidence and ability to work autonomously. Creative writing skills and demonstrated IT proficiency (Word, Excel Powerpoint) are essential; desire and passion for the sporting industry is preferred.
A competitive salary is on offer for the successful candidate. General business hours will be from 8:30am - 5:00pm Mon -Fri, however match day participation will be required, as is interstate travel on occasions.
