ROUND 14’s heavily anticipated clash between Geelong and St Kilda will be broadcast live into Melbourne, the AFL has announced.

With both teams unbeaten after 11 games and four games clear of the third-placed Western Bulldogs, the Docklands match is almost certain to sell out.

The AFL confirmed last month that the match would not be moved to the MCG, citing logistical difficulties.

The match will be shifted to a later start time of 3.10pm to accommodate Channel Seven's schedule.

AFL chief operating officer Gillon McLachlan said the AFL was delighted Channel Seven would go live with the match.

"It's a terrific example of the AFL and our broadcast partner working together to put our fans first," McLachlan said.

Channel Seven Melbourne general manager Lewis Martin thanked the AFL for its decision.
