The president, board, staff, players and members of the Collingwood Football Club would like to express their sadness at the passing of a great servant and friend of Collingwood, Jeff Carron.

A member since 1964 and president of the Magpie Club from 2000 to 2007, Jeff made a wonderful contribution to the club.

Jeff was a dearly beloved husband of Robyn and an adored and highly respected father and father-in-law of Tommy, Sarah and Mark, Richard and Juliana.

Jeff's brave battle with cancer ended peacefully on Friday 19 March 2010, aged 57, surrounded by his loving family.

We will miss you Jeff.
