It is a massive achievement for the 29 year-old who has overcome a season on the sidelines with a knee injury in 2007 to find the best form of his 13-year career.
He has already kicked a career-best 67 goals this season and currently sits seventh on the Club’s all-time leading goal-kickers list.
Speaking before training on Wednesday, Bradshaw was proud to be joining the exclusive 200-game club.
“Once you reach 200 games, I guess it means that you’ve been around for a while,” Bradshaw said.
“It’s a massive milestone and something that I am very proud of. It’s also good for all the people who have supported me and believed in me over the years.”
“It means that I have been relatively consistent throughout my career, but it’s probably something I won’t fully appreciate until I retire.”
“It’s amazing how quick it all goes,” he said. “When I was a young fella, I remember the older guys telling me how quick your career goes and when you get towards the end you certainly do realise you have to make the most of every moment.”
His comments echoed the ones made by his good friend and team-mate Nigel Lappin who announced his retirement on Tuesday.
Bradshaw’s special occasion this Saturday will be shared with Lappin who will perform a lap of honour prior to the game for the Gabba crowd.
“It would be really good to see a full house here on Saturday night to pay their respects to a person who I think is one of the best players to have ever pulled on a Brisbane Lions jumper,” Bradshaw said.
