Contact between the Adelaide Crows' Graham Johncock and St Kilda’s James Gwilt from the first quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. The panel said Gwilt was running forward with the ball and tries to evade Johncock, who was coming towards him. As the St Kilda player attempted to change direction, he slipped to the ground. Johncock, who had been preparing to tackle, made high contact to Gwilt. It was the view of the panel that Gwilt slipping was outside the control of Johncock and the contact was accidental. No further action was taken.
 
Contact between Richmond’s Alex Rance and the Brisbane Lions’ Andrew Raines from the fourth quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. It was the view of the panel that both players were contesting the ball. No further action was taken.
