VETERAN Heath Shaw is open to playing on elsewhere after being delisted by Greater Western Sydney.  

Shaw was officially informed by the Giants this week he wouldn't be retained for 2021.

The 34-year-old is keen to explore his options at a rival in a move that would make him a three-club player. 

The former Pie is open to all possibilities and also holds an interest in coaching, however, isn't keen to commit to a club where he will only play a handful of games next season. 

Shaw, who turns 35 in November, has 325 games to his name after stints at the Giants and Collingwood. 

He played 173 games, including the 2010 premiership, for the Pies from 2005-2013 before moving to the Giants ahead of the 2014 season. 

In seven seasons Shaw played 152 games and was twice named an All Australian in 2015 and 2016. 

The Giants will lose Zac Williams and Aidan Corr via free agency and have several others out of contract. 

After re-signing Harry Perryman last week, the Giants need to secure the signature of free agent gun Jeremy Cameron as well as a trio of first-round picks – Jye Caldwell, Jackson Hately and Xavier O'Halloran.
