PORT Adelaide premiership big man Dean Brogan will return to the club as ruck coach.
It will be a part-time role and Brogan will be a consultant.
He previously held that position at Greater Western Sydney in 2014-17, before returning to South Australia.
Brogan was part of the Power's 2004 flag.
"Dean has impressive credentials when it comes to working with both experienced ruckmen and those still developing their craft," football manager Chris Davies told portadelaidefc.com.au.
"Given the spread of ruckmen on our list, he was the ideal candidate to take on the role.
"We are excited to welcome him back home to Alberton."
The Power have made a raft of changes under Ken Hinkley. Matthew Nicks (Greater Western Sydney) and Aaron Greaves (North Melbourne) have left, while Brett Montgomery and Jarrad Schofield have joined.
Montgomery will be in charge of the defence while Schofield will head up the midfield division.
Michael Voss replaces Nicks as senior assistant and Nathan Bassett will be the forwards coach.
