The Power's bid for a second premiership has been boosted by the off-season arrival of former Essendon ruckman Paddy Ryder.
Many commentators have suggested Ryder is the missing piece in the Power puzzle and can help take Port all the way in 2015.
Port was one of the most exciting teams in 2014 with a reputation for fast finishes.
In the preliminary final against eventual premier Hawthorn, the Power charged in the final term to fall agonisingly short, losing by three points after trailing by 28 points early in the last quarter.
