COLLINGWOOD has delisted former top-10 pick Matt Scharenberg and defender Tim Broomhead after their careers were derailed by serious injuries in recent seasons.
Scharenberg, who was taken at No.6 in the 2013 NAB AFL Draft, endured three knee reconstructions during his seven seasons at the Magpies. The most recent came near the end of 2018, his most productive season in which he played 17 games before cruelly missing the club's barnstorming finals campaign.

The 25-year-old played a total of 41 games with Collingwood, with three of those coming in 2020.
Broomhead played eight seasons at Collingwood after joining the club as a first-round pick in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft.

He looked set to cement his place in the side at the start of 2018 but a badly broken leg suffered against Greater Western Sydney in round two of that season kept him out of the game for almost two years.
Broomhead returned to the side in round 11 this year against Adelaide but he couldn't hold his place in the team, finishing with 37 games in black and white.
The delisted pair join retired trio Ben Reid, Travis Varcoe and Lynden Dunn as confirmed departures from the Collingwood list ahead of the trade and free agency period.
