COLLINGWOOD pair Jamie Elliott and Alex Fasolo were among the notable players to appear in the club's match simulation at the Holden Centre on Monday morning.

Elliott, 24, missed all of last season after dealing with a troublesome back injury that required surgery.

Elliott covered the ground well in a game that spanned three terms on a warm day in Melbourne.

Largely used as a forward in 2016, Fasolo spent a lot of time in defence during the training session.

It is not a part of the ground unfamiliar to the exciting goalkicker – he spent a large portion of 2014 as a backman.

Fasolo lined up in the first 10 games of last year but managed just two after that. The 24-year-old had his left shoulder operated on last August.

After recovering from hip surgery at the end of last year, Tyson Goldsack played out the contest on the last line of defence.

Goldsack, 29, is coming off a season in which he played just four senior games and spent much of the year in the VFL.

Unsurprisingly, Scott Pendlebury's class was obvious whenever he had the ball, and Adam Treloar racked up disposals.

Treloar left the track with a couple of minutes left in the session while unrestricted free agent recruit Chris Mayne did not take part in the last term. Neither appeared to be in any major discomfort.
