Collingwood's entire playing list returned to the Westpac Centre on Monday after a two-week break over the holiday period.

The playing list was called together at 9am for a two-kilometre time-trial held at Olympic Park.

Premiership defender Harry O'Brien continued his stellar form in the preseason, blitizing the pack over the last 500 metres to finish first by several lengths from Steele Sidebottom.

Sidebottom, who has featured consistently in the top three since his arrival at the club, narrowly edged out Dale Thomas with vice captain Scott Pendlebury finishing in fourth.

The group moved to Gosch's Paddock for a light hitout before they returned indoors to work through a gruelling weights session.

Skipper Nick Maxwell spoke to the media after the run.  Click here to watch Maxwell's press conference on CTV.
