Adelaide’s Ben Rutten is throwing his muscle behind the Crows Carols on Thursday, December 18.

Rutten is the newest dad at the Crows after his partner Kylie Green gave birth to Jack on October 14.

He was a healthy, robust baby weighing 8pds 4oz, though many babies in South Australia end up in the Neonatal Unit at Flinders Medical Centre.

Rutten wants to help spread the key message that all funds raised from the event will go towards the campaign by the Flinders Medical Centre to purchase an echocardiography unit for the neonatal unit within the hospital.

Currently the neonatal unit has to share this state of the art equipment with the rest of the hospital and South Australia’s tiny, precious premature babies will greatly benefit from having exclusive use 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
