GREATER Western Sydney has re-signed promising defender Zac Williams for two years.
The 20-year-old has played eight games this season to take his overall tally to 27 and after missing the past fortnight with a hamstring injury, will line up against Port Adelaide on Saturday.
"It was a pretty easy decision to re-sign with the club for another two years," Williams said.
"I’ve been here for three years now and I’m really settled in Sydney with some of my best mates here at the club."
Following the re-signings of a number of young stars, including Matt Buntine, Stephen Coniglio and Jeremy Cameron, CEO David Matthew said Williams' commitment was further reflection of the club's bright future.
"His commitment, along with so many others who have re-signed this year, shows the club is well and truly heading in the right direction," Matthews said.
"We've had our best season yet on the field and are pushing for finals in just our fourth year so these players know there’s an exciting future ahead."
