In his own words
What type of player are you?
Defend first, attack second. A defender of big or small forwards, I spoil the ball on the lead and then work it out of defence.
Which AFL player do you feel you resemble, and why?
Harry O’Brien. Fairly large with good athleticism and an attacking defender.
What are your strengths as a footballer?
My pace and closing speed, bringing the ball to the ground, and close man-on-man defence.
What parts of your game would you like to improve?
My kicking and handballing skills, and marking in defence.
Which AFL team do you support and how did you come to barrack for them?
I don’t have a team, but I like the way Bulldogs run and carry. I also like the way Essendon attack hard when they play against St Kilda.
Who has been the biggest influence on your career so far, and why?
Jamie Lockyer, my Aquinas coach. He got me to play defence and had faith in me early in my time at Aquinas.
