Geelong supporters have voted Steven King as the Cats best in the round three clash with Collingwood in the gfc.com.au player of the year award. Fans voted King as the best player and he moves into joint second place in voting.

King dominated the clash with the Magpies, giving his teammates first use of the ball 40 times in an outstanding rucking performance. King sits second in the AFL with 94 hit outs through the opening three rounds of the season. Ablett had 12 possessions and Ling again overshadowed Collingwood skipper Nathan Buckley and garnered 23 disposals and laid five tackles.

Geelong supporters are asked to vote on-line each week for the club’s best players. Voting will open for the round four game against Melbourne straight after Saturday’s game.
