ST KILDA will run onto the MCG before Collingwood on grand final day, but will have to wear its predominantly white clash strip.
The Saints will burst through their banner at 2.16pm on Saturday afternoon, with Collingwood to follow at 2.19pm.
The Magpies will be wearing their predominantly black home guernsey, black shorts and black socks.
St Kilda will be sporting white shorts, while the socks will have mostly white hoops.
The teams wore the uniforms when they last met in round 16.
"We've worn [our home jumper] from the very first game we played in, so we're delighted to be wearing it on Saturday," Collingwood president Eddie McGuire said.
"It's going to be a fantastic game and we wish the Saints the best of luck.
"We just hope neither injuries nor umpires play any role in deciding the outcome.
"The two best teams will face off against each other and one is going to be victorious and the other very disappointed, but it's going to be a great game of football."
McGuire said the Magpies were quietly confident heading into the match.
"We're delighted with our preparations," he added. "The coach and the coaching strategy is as good as it has ever been at the Collingwood Football Club.
"There's a nice, steely determination within the team and we know we're in the best possible position to challenge for the premiership this year.
"That's all you can hope for when you get a couple of days out from a grand final. We're ready to go."
The weather bureau has predicted fine and warm conditions for Saturday, with a top temperature in Melbourne of 20 degrees.
