THE KANGAROOS and the Brisbane Lions will open next weekend’s matches with a Friday afternoon NAB Challenge game at MC Labour Park in Melbourne.

In the first of the NAB Cup quarter finals, the Bulldogs will face Essendon later that evening at Telstra Dome.

In the other NAB Cup quarter-finals, St Kilda and Geelong travel to Canberra’s Manuka Oval, Hawthorn and Carlton do battle at Telstra Dome, while early NAB Cup favourites Adelaide will play the winning Western Australian side in their quarter-final at AAMI Stadium next Sunday.

In other NAB Challenge fixtures, for clubs eliminated from the NAB Cup, Collingwood will cross the Nullarbor to play the loser of Sunday’s Fremantle-West Coast clash in Albany, the Tigers will play Melbourne in Cairns, while the Swans host Port Adelaide at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium.
