Adcock proved solid in defence with 26 disposals (14 kicks and 12 handballs), six marks and six tackles to rack up a total of 112 Dream Team points. He finished clear of Tom Rockliff (91) and Amon Buchanan (89) who rounded out the top three.
Jack Redden remains on top of the players’ leaderboard with a total of 195 points after two rounds while Rockliff is second with 185 points. Daniel Rich and Simon Black share third place with 181 points apiece.
It is a further positive sign for the Club’s future that Redden, Rockliff and Rich are each among the top Dream Team scorers for the Club. The three 'R’s’ have each played less than 50 AFL games and Rockliff is the only one of the promising trio to have already celebrated his 21st birthday.
Rich continues to perform well off the field with his own Dream Team - ‘Richy’s Rockets’. The Rockets remain the best placed side among the actual Lions players who are participating in the online competition. He moved up 17 places in the Lions’ group to sit at 201st overall after two rounds.
The biggest movers were Todd Banfield, Mitch Clark and Josh Green who improved significantly on their opening round performance. ‘Todd’s Titans’ were the most impressive, scoring 2,011 points in Round 2 to move up 64 spaces.
Unfortunately the news wasn’t as good for Tom Rockliff’s team ‘Rocky’s Rebels’. The Rebels are now the lowest scoring Lions team and are ranked 549th overall (out of 645 teams).
Meanwhile, there has been a change at the top with ‘Spaceballs’ (coached by Adam) moving into first position, just three points clear of Scully’s curiously named ‘rAnDOM1zzz3d’. Congratulations also to George M whose Round 2 score of 2,243 was the highest among all registered teams in the Lions’ group.
