Three Students participated by making Healthy Snacks in our Hawks In Schools presentation. This Move Well Eat Well School were quick with answers about Healthy Living and Being Active at School.
The students watched Hawthorn midfielder brad Sewell’s Play On Foods from the HawksActive TV on the Hawks website. He demonstrated what foods fit into the three areas of the food pyramid, This was great for determining what foods to limit and what to have more of.
150 Students from Prep to Grade six then engaged in an active participation session in the school gymnasium, this included Handball and a Netball Relay run by the students from UTAS.
