The Hawks conducted the first of two regional training sessions at Dandenong’s Shepley Oval on Friday.

Despite the soaring temperatures the players trained for an hour and a half. After training the team conducted a Q&A and autograph signing session with the fans who braved the conditions.

The Q&A lead by Trent Croad and Brent Guerra was a great opportunity for the players to relax and have a laugh with the young Hawk fans, while a number of such enjoyed having a photo with some of their heroes.

The young Hawks flocked to their favourite players for some kick to kick around the ground and the free icy poles were welcomed by both players and fans at the end of the session.

The next regional training session will be on Friday 25 January at Toomuc Recreation Reserve.

The Players will conduct a free clinic and sign autographs, and Club mascot Hawka will be there. Come down and grab a snag at the barbecue as all the proceeds going to Pakenham Junior Football Club.

Make sure you wear brown and gold and bring a hat and sunscreen!
