In March 2007, St Kilda fans can look forward to a new made-for-mobile reality TV series called Your Team TV, available to watch on mobile handsets exclusively through Vodafone live! with 3G.
The series will provide information and entertainment about the players’ lives outside football. It’s an exclusive, behind-the-scenes insight that you just can’t get anywhere else.
Your Team TV will be free for all customers with Vodafone live! with 3G handsets, with a new 3-5 minute ‘mobisode’ uploaded each month of the footy season.
Vodafone will also become the major sponsor of the Saints in Suits business networking events, giving its key business customers the opportunity to become more involved with the club.
Vodafone’s relationship with St Kilda complements its existing partnerships with Port Adelaide, Brisbane Lions, West Coast Eagles and the Triple M AFL broadcast.
Vodafone is also heavily involved in Rugby with the four Super 14 teams – Queensland Reds, Western Force, NSW Waratahs and ACT Brumbies, as well as the Wallabies.
On the V8 Supercar circuit, the company is naming rights sponsors of Triple Eight Race Engineering, now known as TeamVodafone. Within motor racing, the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 team will launch in 2007.
