CARLTON president Stephen Kernahan has slammed the players for their performance against Gold Coast on Sunday, declaring it was like they were on holidays.
Kernahan put the entire club on notice, backing up his written statement from earlier on Monday, in a video chat on carltonfc.com.au.
"[I'm] very disappointed, [t was] one of our worst losses in my time at the club, and we need to take responsibility and be accountable for that," Kernahan said.
"Our players were very ordinary early, they seemed to be on holidays and our members and supporters should be disappointed, as we are."
Kernahan again insisted a full review wouldn't happen until after Sunday's final game against St Kilda.
"While we are very emotional about the result on the weekend, we won't be making any knee-jerk reactions," he said.
Kernahan admitted the team had lost any respect it had regained in recent weeks, in just "a couple of hours" on Saturday night.
But he added any decisions would be based on the whole season.
"It won't be on the weekend's game, it'll be what's happened all year," he said.
"And we'll be looking at everyone across the board, the playing list, the board, the fitness side of thing, elite performance unit, coaching, everything."
