Yesterday we got a behind-the-scenes peek at the brand new footy-tastic AFL Mascot Manor shows created especially for kids of all ages!

AFL Mascot Manor is the premier children's sports and entertainment brand in Australia, harnessing the excitement and passion of footy in a fun and cheeky character brand. Appealing to children aged 3-10 years and all fans of AFL, the mascots from Mascot Manor are set to take the 2008 AFL footy season by storm!

The mascots are currently in rehearsal for their individual live solo shows and the 16- mascot group extravaganza. Four mascots - Bernie 'Gabba' Vegas (Brisbane), 'Slammin' Sam Tomcat (Geelong), Tommy 'Thunda' Power (Port Adelaide) and Johnny 'The Doc' Docker (Fremantle) - danced away at Telstra Dome in preparation for their time in the spotlight!

Boyd Hicklin, creator of Mascot Manor and the book CRUNCH TIME and children from Wimble St Childcare were there to meet their favourite mascots and watch the first rehearsal of these brand new live shows!

Entertainment Store Group is developing 30-minute shows for each character, from 'Slammin' Sam Tomcat to Bernie 'Gabba' Vegas. Each show will incorporate club theme tunes and all-new original songs, along with funky tap and hip-hop choreography.
