They say that the number 13 is unlucky for some, but for Raymond Winchester of Sheidow Park, 13 proved to the luckiest number of them all when he became the inaugural winner of the 2008 Crows Members Lotto.

Raymond’s number 1313 was the first number selected out of over 2800 Members Lotto numbers and was naturally over the moon when told about his winnings.

Raymond invested $20 in the new Crows Member Lotto and was rewarded by winning the $1,000 which will be on offer at every Crows home match in 2008 to those who have taken part in the new match day initiative.

Although not at the match, Raymond’s $1,000 was collected by his wife Betty who was presented with the $1,000 cash first prize by former Crows player Andrew Crowell on AAMI Stadium at three quarter time of the Crows v Eagles match.
