Ryley Dunn has been promoted from the club’s Rookie List to the Primary List after the Fremantle Football Club received approval from the AFL today.

Ryley, 22, has been promoted after confirmation from the AFL that Paul Hasleby had been accepted on to the long-term injured list. Paul Hasleby injured the ACL in his left knee in round one of the 2008 NAB Cup.

Ryley was taken by the club with its first selection (no. 10 overall) in the 2003 National Draft after twice achieving All-Australian status following the National Under 18’s championships. His promising career was put on hold due to injury, which included a broken collarbone in his debut season. He made his first appearance in more than two years in round 22, 2007 when he lined up against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium, collecting seven disposals and laying three tackles.

The club re-drafted Ryley via the 2007 Rookie Draft after delisting him from the senior list at the end of the season.
