GREATER Western Sydney veteran Ryan Griffen remains in massive doubt for Saturday's clash with Richmond in Canberra.
Griffen trained away from the main group at Manuka Oval on Friday because of illness.
The 30-year-old has been sidelined since round 14 with a hamstring injury.
Griffen completed light running drills for about 15 minutes before he left the ground.
Adam Kennedy trained with the main group and is likely to come back into the side if Griffen is sidelined.
Matthew Kennedy and James Stewart are the Giants' other two emergencies.
The Giants are aiming for a clean sweep of their three Canberra games for the first time in their history.
But there also could be a bit of travel fatigue setting in as the Giants embark on their third of four straight games away from Spotless Stadium.
The Giants smashed the Brisbane Lions by 79 points before staging a second-half fightback to get over Port Adelaide last weekend.
Forward Devon Smith admitted it wasn't an ideal situation.
"I don't think we needed four weeks on the road, I think we're the only team to do it," Smith said.
"I don't think we're huge fans of that and I think we're off to Gold Coast next week.
''We'd rather not do that, but it is what it is."
A sold-out crowd of close to 14,000 is expected for the Manuka Oval encounter.
Smith is returning to some of his most damaging form in his fourth game back from a knee injury that forced him to miss three months.
The 23-year-old kicked two goals and had 23 possessions in the win over the Power.
"I've built back into it, I'm back playing my normal rotations and feeling really good," Smith said.
Smith isn't under-estimating the 13th-placed Tigers and pointed to their after the siren upset of the Sydney Swans as proof they can compete with anyone.
"Richmond have played some good footy at certain times this year," Smith said.
"They beat Sydney in the game of the year and almost beat the Dogs a couple of weeks ago, so we've got to come prepared for a battle."
