Below is an excerpt from the CTV show now upload on the club’s official YouTube channel.

Paul Licuria:  If you were still playing today at Collingwood, what sort of role would you have?

Saverio Rocca:  I would have to get back into shape first off.  Right here, right now I would be sitting in the goal square and would not be travelling too far from it.

PL:  Who is the most famous person you have ever met while playing in America?

SR: I was coming off the field against Detroit and I ran into Hugh Jackman.  I stopped and had a chat.  He is a lovely guy and apparently he knows the coach of the Detroit Lions and was there watching the game.

PL:  What’s the main difference between the inner sanctum of an AFL club and the inner sanctum of an NFL one?  In terms of diet and preparation.

SR: Over there it is left to your own accord.  They expect you to come into training at 100% and if you are not, the contract is not binding and they will release you if you are not up to shape.  Here, I felt like guys could get around the radar a little bit and not do as much as they need to because their contract is guaranteed. I have someone trying to take my job every week of the preseason.  I will have five kicks and he will have five kicks.  Everything is graded.  If I am not up to scratch, the guy who is doing better will take my job.
