Once again the Club and supporters are encouraged to Join the Battle and dig deep to support Peter Mac, Australia’s only dedicated cancer centre. Money raised on the day will help Peter Mac in its battle to help more people survive cancer by raising money for vital cancer research and treatment programs.
This year you can purchase a Peter Mac pin to show your support for the Pies as well as going into the draw to win some fabulous prizes including: an Intrepid ‘Active Asia’ holiday package for 2 people, and autographed Sherrin footballs and AFL supporter packs.
By purchasing a Peter Mac pin for $5.00, you can show your support for the Club while making a lasting difference to the lives of those touched by cancer.
Pins will be available through the Club’s merchandise outlet from April 26 and will be available on the day of the match from volunteers at the ground, MCG merchandise outlets, selected Spotless MCG food outlets and online at
www.petermac.org/events.
HMAS Cerberus, East Keilor Rotary and Peter Mac volunteers’ will be selling pins and collecting donations from supporters outside and inside the ground before and during the match.
The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is truly unique within our public hospital system. It is the only Australian hospital solely dedicated to cancer and also has its own cancer research division. It has an international reputation for excellence and innovation in research, treatment and patient care and continues to dedicate itself to helping more people survive cancer.
