I wasn't really to fussed that we lost to the Crows, we just had a really bad day out.

No doubt the Crows had come out really pumped for this match wanting revenge for us beating them in the finals on their home turf last year.

I thought what really hurt us was our innacurate kicking for goal, 8 goals 12 looks a lot worse than if it had have been 12 goals 8. If we had have nailed a few of those shots, it might have lifted the team a bit and resulted in a much closer game.

I know Brendon Goddard loves to play in the midfield but I wouldn't mind seeing him start in the goal square and lead all the way out to the 50m line.

I think our forward line was very congested against the Crows and our forwards were well held by the opposition. Leading a bit further out from goals and you find there is a lot more space and players aren't marked as closely.

I say go with Goddard for this role as he is more than capable of taking some great marks and can really hurt the opposition on the scoreboard with long and accurate kicking.

I would really like to see Brendon put his hand up and take on the responsibility for kicking more goals, I don't think that he should pass the ball if he is within kicking range.
