IT HAS been brewing for several weeks but Brisbane Lions forward Brendan Fevola has finally assumed the dubious honour of the most disappointing performer in this year's Toyota AFL Dream Team competition.

Fevola's value dropped another $9,200 after his 41-point game against Geelong on Saturday, taking his overall decline to $191,400 for the season.

His total losses now outstrip those of long-time form drop leader, Collingwood's Leon Davis, by more than $20,000 after the Pies forward continued his recent revival with 75 points against Richmond.

It's been a staggering fall from grace for Fevola, who began the season rated at $393,300 and produced a 106-point game in debut for the Lions.

However, it's been a steady downward spiral for the two-time Coleman Medallist since then, averaging less than 60 points for the season and just 42.8 points in the past five weeks.

With the Pies on top of the ladder and flying, Fevola is now a clear favourite to end 2010 in the position that no Dream Team-conscious footballer wants to find themselves.

Fev isn't the only marquee forward among the top 10 form drop table after St Kilda skipper Nick Riewoldt ($340,800) edged into ninth place.

Looks can be deceiving, though, as Riewoldt racked up 90 points against the Hawks to enjoy his best game since returning from a severe hamstring in round 15.

It seems Saint Nick's value curve has reached its lowest point; if you're considering trading him in for a late-season boost, now could be the best time.

At the other end of the form ladder, round 17 was a good one for the league's old-fashioned centremen with Joel Selwood, Lenny Hayes and Andrew Swallow finishing the round as the top-three highest scorers.

Selwood (162 points) was superb in the Cats' demolition of the Lions, narrowly shading Swallow's 160-point game in North Melbourne's narrow loss to Essendon.

And Saints star Hayes continued his exceptional run of recent form with 136 points against Hawthorn, taking his five-round average to a healthy 113 points.

Just as round 17 provided some movement in the form drop table, so too was there a shuffle among Dream Team's big improvers.

Adelaide's athletic young flanker Ricky Henderson racked up 91 points against Port Adelaide, taking his overall value to $283,600 after beginning 2010 as a $94,500-rated rookie.

The former elite junior basketballer is now sixth among the top 10 improvers and looks set for further gains as the revived Crows look to challenge for a finals berth.

Bulldog Brodie Moles was another to raise his standing with a solid 88-point game against Fremantle.  The rookie was an early-season bolter, averaging 74 in his first four games before injury struck. However, he has bounced back in recent weeks and now ranks inside the top 10.

Injured Fremantle midfielder Michael Barlow remains on top of the improvers and his lead over Tom Rockliff increased to more than $80,000 after the Lion midfielder's charge stalled with an 87-point game.

Tiger defender Daniel Connors ($384,100) is now third on the table after James Podsiadly ($296,100) had a rare quiet outing at Skilled Stadium against the Lions.
