GREATER Western Sydney has secured another of its talented youngsters, with emerging forward Will Hoskin-Elliott turning his back on a return home and inking a new two-year contract extension.
The Victorian has re-committed to the expansion club until at least the end of 2017, believing the Giants are on the verge of success.
"We've had a really strong start to the season and I can see that the playing group is heading in the right direction," Hoskin-Elliott told the club's website.
"I've been here from the start and I believe big things are around the corner for the club.
"Sydney feels like home for my girlfriend Kirstie and I, we've made some good friends at the Giants and I want to be a part of what we're building."
Hoskin-Elliott has played 44 games - including five this year after a pre-season shoulder injury - since he was taken with the fourth pick in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.
The strong-marking 21-year-old joins fellow promising forwards Jonathan Patton, Devon Smith, Jeremy Cameron and Adam Tomlinson as recent re-signings for GWS.
"We're thrilled Will has re-signed with the Giants," coach Leon Cameron said.
"He's had to overcome a couple of injury concerns this season but is an important player and we're delighted he wants to be part of the Giants."
With Hoskin-Elliott signed, even more attention will turn to the futures of the Giants' out-of-contract midfield stars Adam Treloar, Stephen Coniglio and Dylan Shiel as the club (6-3) aims for a maiden finals berth.
