PORT Adelaide veteran Justin Westhoff will surpass Geelong defender Zach Tuohy as the most durable player in the game, claiming the longest current streak of consecutive games.
Westhoff will make his 124th-straight appearance for the Power in their season opener against Melbourne at the MCG on Saturday.
He will snatch top spot away from Tuohy, who was ruled out of the Cats' round one encounter against Collingwood at the MCG on Friday night with a knee injury.

It ended an impressive run for the Irishman stretching 138 games – 48 in his two seasons with the Cats in 2017-18 and 90 with Carlton, starting in round 18 of the 2012 season.
Westhoff would have already been in top spot, and have another 42 games to his tally, if not for a brain snap in the Power's round 15 encounter with Essendon in the 2013 season.
Westhoff was handed a one-game suspension for striking Bombers defender Cale Hooker during the three-quarter time break.
It was a rare blemish in Westhoff's career, which culminated in claiming his first club best and fairest last year.
He is on track for another milestone next week when he runs out for his 250th game when Port Adelaide takes on Carlton at Adelaide Oval.
Tuohy isn't the only casualty from the top-10 list to start the 2019 season.
Greater Western Sydney co-captain Callan Ward's 95-game run is over due to a knee injury, Hawthorn's Brownlow Medallist Tom Mitchell (eighth, 76 games) will likely miss the season with a broken leg and Power co-captain Ollie Wines (equal ninth, 67 games) is out with a shoulder injury.
The next goal for Westhoff is to catch Melbourne great Jim Stynes's long-standing record of 244 consecutive games.
To do that, Westhoff will have to play for at least another five seasons until the age of 37 with 12 finals games thrown in for good measure.
A tough ask for sure – maybe 26-year-old St Kilda midfielder Jack Newnes (110 games) and Collingwood defender Jack Crisp (25, 98 games) will have a better chance of reining-in Stynes.
