A guard of honour made up of significant contributors to the Collingwood Football Club will be formed on the ground as part of the celebration for the unfurling of the 2010 premiership flag at the MCG on Friday night.
People from all parts of the club including representatives from senior and junior membership categories, coteries, life members, past players, club legends, sponsors, board members and staff will be on the ground to take part in the celebrations.
Members of the 1990 premiership team, Tony Shaw and Peter Daicos will bring the official premiership flag onto the ground through the guard of honour. Former Collingwood premiership captains Lou Richards (1953) and Murray Weideman (1958) will also be a among the past players present.
Included in the guard of honour will be the following club legends and life members.
