The 184 centimetre former Gaelic footballer from County Laois was named on an extended bench in the initial Brisbane squad published on Thursday evening and remained there after the squad was trimmed on Friday.
He's the fourth and final inclusion in the side after Michael Voss, Jared Brennan and Josh Drummond were drafted straight into the starting 18.
Marcus Allen, Scott Harding and Marty Pask drop out of last week's side and are all emergencies, while Ben Fixter goes back to the AFLQ to find some touch.
The Eagles have made two changes ahead of the encounter with Brett Jones joining fellow inclusion Drew Banfield in the final 22.
