In a positive move for football fans, Essendon away matches at Telstra Dome are no longer classified as ‘reserved seat events’. This means that AFL Members are not required to reserve a seat for these matches and can scan their Membership card on the day of the match for general admission on Level 3.

Level 3 reserved seating will be made available for designated anticipated high demand matches should the AFL and Telstra Dome deem necessary.

Level 3 reserved seating will be made available for the matches listed below:

  • Round 4: Saturday April 21, St Kilda v Essendon
Level 3 reserved seating is currently on sale through Ticketmaster
  • Round 6: Friday May 4, St Kilda v Carlton
Level 3 reserved seating will be made available from 9am, Friday, April 20 through Ticketmaster
  • Round 8: Sunday May 20, Western Bulldogs v Collingwood
Level 3 reserved seating will be made available from 9am, Friday, May 4 through Ticketmaster
  • Reserved seating will be released in accordance to demand. Any areas not pre-reserved will be available for walk-up on the day of the match.

Please note that when purchasing a Level 3 reserved seat, you will need to purchase out of the ‘general public’ area as there is not a designated AFL Area on Level 3. For step by step instructions on how to purchase level 3 reserved seating online, click here.

The AFL will continue to meet with Telstra Dome throughout the season to make a decision on what matches Level 3 reserved seating will be made available for.

AFL Members will be notified of these matches as soon as further details are made available.
