Morabito, a No.4 draft pick in 2009, collected 23 disposals and kicked a miraculous goal in Peel Thunder's 19-point loss to West Coast's affiliate club East Perth on Saturday.
It was the 22-year-old's first WAFL game since July 2012.
He played two WAFL pre-season matches in the lead-up to Saturday's performance having not played at all in 2013 after a third knee reconstruction.
Zac Clarke and Garrick Ibbotson also made strong returns from injury playing alongside Morabito.
Clarke had 30 hit-outs in the ruck to go with 13 disposals and a goal, while Ibbotson gathered 18 disposals in his comeback match after Achilles surgery in September last year.
Fremantle youngster Josh Simpson played one of his best WAFL matches gathering 25 touches for the Thunder.
Michael Apeness, the Dockers' first pick in last year's NAB AFL draft, made his WAFL debut but was well held by Eagles rookie Jeremy McGovern who was one of East Perth's best.
The Dockers, however, do have some injury concerns from the match with high-profile recruit Colin Sylvia withdrawn from the game at half-time due to a quad issue.
Max Duffy injured his shoulder and Tanner Smith suffered a hamstring problem.
