GRAFTON local Sally Anderson is this week's Member of the Week.
sydneyswans.com.au got the inside word on why Sally loves the Swans, what her all-time favourite moment is and who her favourite player is.
Here's what Sally had to say...
When did you first join the Sydney Swans?
I first joined as a Junior Member in 2007.
What do you like most about being a member?
Staying in touch with the news and being a member of the team despite the fact I live so far away!
What is your all-time favourite Swans moment?
2005 and 2006 Grand finals were phenomenal, but Brett Kirk’s last game was my favourite moment! He has always been my favourite player and when I was watching I eagerly followed his every move.
What has been your favourite moment in 2010?
Anytime Kieren Jack had possession, he was just wonderful to watch! I also can’t go past Kirk’s farewell; he was such a great leader and had an incredible AFL career with the Sydney Swans.
Who is your favourite Swans player?
Kieren Jack, he just has so much potential!
Where do you sit at the SCG/ANZ Stadium? Why do you love these seats?
I currently sit in the Red Zone at both the SCG and ANZ Stadium. This area is full of members and the atmosphere is fantastic. Living in the country I only get to see a few matches, however I am finishing school and moving to Sydney next year and will hopefully be at every home game!
What do you like most about coming to Swans matches?
The atmosphere, and who can go past the sea of red and white? I love nothing more than coming to a match and seeing the crowd all dressed up in their Swans colours.
Any final words for the team?
Good luck in 2011. I will finally be in the crowd cheering instead of in front of the TV set; I hope it makes a difference!
