Despite encountering construction delays, the club which was initially due for completion in March, is a state-of-the-art venue and will feature a beer garden, a gaming room and member lounges, complete with plasma screen televisions. The venue will also highlight a large selection of Lions memorabilia, Honour Boards and the 2001, 2002 and 2003 Premiership Cups!
Simply by visiting the new Social Club, members will be eligible to win fantastic prizes. As part of their 2007 membership packs, Members over the age of 18 will receive a combined Social Club and Privilege Card. Just by swiping your card on entry will put you in the running for prizes such as match day tickets, Brisbane Lions merchandise and promotional packs.
Members can also earn reward points with their card on the gaming machines. These rewards points can be redeemed for Brisbane Lions merchandise and Chalk Hotel food and beverage vouchers.
Membership events and promotions will also be highlight of the new venue and members can win cash prizes simply by attending one of the Social Club’s weekly draws. There will also be plenty of opportunities for fans to meet the players at regular events throughout the season.
And, for those games held away from the Gabba, you can watch all the excitement on the 35 large plasma screens throughout the facility.
