JAKE Melksham will be hoping for a change in luck when his pre-season starts in two weeks after his new Melbourne training kit was stolen from his car.
The 24-year-old former Essendon midfielder vented his frustration via Twitter on Monday morning after a vehicle break-in.
Melksham said his Demons' tracksuit and backpack were the only items taken.
The 114-game midfielder will start training in two weeks when the Demons' five-year plus players resume on November 23.
The Demons' first- to fourth-year players were scheduled to hit the track on Monday afternoon as pre-season started for youngsters at 10 AFL clubs across the country.
