Jarrod Witts was the Magpies' best in their 29-point elimination final win over the Tigers, finishing with 33 hit-outs, 13 touches and a goal in a dominant display in the ruck.
Midfielder Sam Dwyer led the stats sheet with a team-high 30 disposals and was followed closely by fellow ball-winner Brent Macaffer, who had 27 touches and booted a goal.
Patrick Karnezis kicked three goals from his 18 disposals, while Tony Armstrong collected 12 possessions and was named in the best.
The Magpies take on Sandringham in a semi-final clash at North Port Oval next Sunday.

Defender Jason Ashby, who has played five games at the elite level this season, was the only Bombers-listed player to feature in the best in the 21-point elimination final win.
A few experienced Bombers, including retired great Dustin Fletcher and injured skipper Jobe Watson, were on hand to watch the game before heading to the MCG for the final-round match against Collingwood.
The Bombers will meet Footscray in a semi-final clash at North Port Oval on Saturday.

With the Dockers resting 12 key players in their final-round match against Port Adelaide, Peel fielded an undermanned squad and was dealt a 109-point thumping.
Eight players that lined up for the Dockers against the Power on Saturday – Tanner Smith, Ethan Hughes, Brady Grey, Lachie Weller, Hayden Crozier, Max Duffy, Jack Hannath and Jacob Ballard – featured for Peel last weekend.
That left the Thunder with just three Fremantle-listed players in the team – rookies Tom Vandeleur (23 touches), Sean Hurley (16 touches, one goal) and Craig Moller (13 touches, 45 hit-outs).
As a result, five Peel players debuted for the senior squad in the qualifying final.
A full-strength Peel will meet West Coast-affiliated club East Perth next Sunday.

Hawthorn-listed ruckman Jon Ceglar, who returned from a back injury that sidelined him for three weeks, kicked two goals in Box Hill's 40-point qualifying final win over Footscray.
"(Ceglar) returned and had a big competitor in (Will) Minson against him. He has a great ability to run off and almost be like another midfielder for us," Hawks coach Marco Bello told AFL.com.au.
Omitted onballer Billy Hartung was one of the Hawks' best with 30 touches, eight marks and seven tackles, and may firm as a possible replacement for the injured Isaac Smith (knee).
"When the ball got on the outside, (Hartung) was on the end of it. He gave us that run and carry and was able to break lines," Bello said.
"He uses the footy really well, he's a smart footballer and he would've had eight or so inside 50 entries for us, so that was telling."
The Hawks' coach said Jed Anderson (one goal) and Jonathan Simpkin (36 disposals) also played their required roles for the team.
"Simpkin is a really instrumental player. I think he's leading the competition in score assists and goal assists, and he handed off a few again today," Bello said.
Midfielder Brendan Whitecross, who has been in the VFL for much of the season, took eight marks and was also one of the Hawks' better players.
"Whitecross played inside mid this week and did a really good job for us inside but also when we went forward … and at times he even went back for us," Bello said.

After missing last weekend's match with a minor knee injury, midfielder Aidan Riley was the standout of the Demons-listed players with a team-high 31 disposals in Casey's 21-point elimination final loss.
Fellow onballer Jordie McKenzie also returned after being sidelined last week with concussion, working his teammates into the game with his 29 touches.
Rohan Bail (28 disposals), omitted midfielder Matt Jones (26), Dean Kent (22) and Dean Terlich (22) rounded out the Demons' major ball-winners as Casey's season came to an end.
Big man Jack Fitzpatrick troubled the Bombers' defenders in attacking 50 and finished with two goals.
Fitzpatrick's first goal came with a nice snap shot from about 40m out after bursting away from his opponent, while his second came with a perfect set shot that curled a long way in the breeze.

The Kangaroos plucked Majak Daw, Mason Wood and Kayne Turner from Werribee's line-up after deciding to rest nine players for Friday night's clash with Richmond.
In Werribee's 29-point elimination final loss to the Magpies, Scott McMahon (17 touches, seven tackles) was the only Kangaroos-listed player to rate a mention in the bests.
The experienced defender came off the ground in the third quarter with a groin complaint, but finished the game strongly in the final term.
Another out-of-contract Roo, Kieran Harper, showed some grunt in the midfield and up forward before finishing with 12 disposals, seven tackles and a goal.

Youngster Sam Colquhoun led the way for the Power-listed players, gathering 23 touches in the Magpies' 29-point qualifying final loss.
Reliable onballer Kane Mitchell was in the thick of the action all game and collected 21 disposals in a tough day for his side.
Out-of-contract utility Andrew Moore finished with 18 possessions, while teenager Darcy Byrne-Jones, who is yet to make his debut for the Power, had 16 touches.
The Magpies will now face Central District in a semi-final at Adelaide Oval next Sunday.

Youngster Blake Acres and defender Cameron Shenton led the way for the Saints-listed players, accumulating 23 disposals apiece in their side's seven-point qualifying final loss.
Trailing by 48 points at three-quarter time, the Zebras kicked six unanswered goals in the final term but fell short of claiming a remarkable come-from-behind win.
Forward Arryn Siposs was lively in attack and booted two goals, while omitted Saint Tom Hickey and Ahmed Saad added one major each.
The Zebras will play Collingwood in a cut-throat semi-final at North Port Oval next Sunday.
State league affiliate: Sydney Swans (NEAFL)
This weekend: Semi-final - Aspley v Sydney Swans - Saturday September 5, 12pm, Graham Road
Craig Bird and Ben McGlynn were some of the Swans' best in their seven-point elimination final loss to Aspley on Saturday.
It was McGlynn's second NEAFL appearance since missing three games with a hamstring.
Both would be keen for their seasons to not end this weekend, although Bird hasn't played at AFL level since round 16 and McGlynn since round 18.
Young pair Jack Hiscox and Toby Nankervis were the Swans' only multiple goal-kickers with three and two respectively.
Ruckman Tom Derickx was also impressive, along with Harry Marsh.

Midfielder Kane Lucas, who is yet to make his official debut for the Eagles, generated plenty of drive in his side's 32-point elimination final win, accumulating 30 touches, eight tackles and booting two goals.
Lucas was ably assisted by fellow onballer and restricted free agent Scott Selwood (24 disposals, two goals), whose future at the club remains up in the air.
Omitted trio Tom Barrass (13 touches), Murray Newman (nine touches, one goal) and Jamie Bennell (nine touches) were kept relatively quiet.
East Perth will come up against a full-strength Peel next Sunday, who will regain a host of Fremantle-listed players that filled in at the weekend.

Lin Jong put in another strong performance in the Bulldogs' 40-point qualifying final loss to the Hawks, two weeks after being omitted from the senior side.
Jong was named as the team's best, while Will Minson was also notable although it looks unlikely he'll figure in Luke Beveridge's finals plans having not played in the AFL since round 15.
Still, the Dogs' coach may reconsider the need to play a genuine ruckman against Adelaide after Brisbane Lions' big man Stef Martin got hold of them on Saturday.
Ruckman Tom Campbell missed the qualifying final due to a bout of gastro, while key forward Tom Boyd joined Campbell on the sidelines with a groin complaint.
The Dogs will want to bring Bob Murphy and Dale Morris back for their elimination final next week, while Stewart Crameri said he was confident of being fully fit after suffering a heavy cork against the Lions.
"Originally I thought something was wrong with the knee but it seems to be fine," Crameri told Channel Seven on Sunday.
"It's just a bit of a corky so it should be right by Thursday."
Footscray plays Essendon in a semi-final clash at North Port Oval on Saturday.
