COLLINGWOOD’S prized father-son recruit Darcy Moore is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring his left hamstring in the VFL on Sunday.
The 19-year-old was injured in the final quarter of the Magpies' 32-point loss to Essendon at Windy Hill.
Moore was slow to get up near the wing and was helped off the ground.
The extent of the injury won't be known until he has scans on Monday.
Who starred in the state leagues?
The son of dual Brownlow medallist Peter, Moore was selected by Collingwood with pick No.8 in last year's NAB AFL Draft after playing with the Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup.
The 199cm key position player had impressed across the backline and through the middle in the VFL in recent weeks.
Update on Darcy Moore's hamstring: Extent of the injury is unknown as yet. The club is hopeful it's not too serious. Scans to come tomorrow.
