The AFL wishes to advise the Tribunal will not sit tonight, Tuesday May 21, after all players chose to accept the sanctions offered by the Match Review Panel from the weekend’s matches:

 

Sanctions Accepted:

Scott Thompson, North Melbourne, has accepted a reprimand and 60 points towards his future record for striking Matt Rosa, West Coast, during the second quarter of the Round Eight match between North Melbourne and West Coast, played at Patersons Stadium on Friday May 17, 2013.

 

Daniel Merrett, Brisbane Lions, has accepted a three-match sanction for engaging in rough conduct against Michael Hurley, Essendon, during the first quarter of the Round Eight match between the Brisbane Lions and Essendon, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday May 18, 2013.

 

Justin Clarke, Brisbane Lions, has accepted a one-match sanction for charging Elliott Kavanagh, Essendon, during the first quarter of the Round Eight match between the Brisbane Lions and Essendon, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday May 18, 2013.

 

Simon Black, Brisbane Lions, has accepted a $900 sanction for making negligent contact with umpire Stuart Wenn during the first quarter of the Round Eight match between the Brisbane Lions and Essendon, played at Etihad Stadium on Saturday May 18, 2013.

 

Alex Rance, Richmond, has accepted a $3000 sanction for engaging in a melee at half time of the Round Eight match between Richmond and Melbourne, played at the MCG on Sunday May 19, 2013.

 

Tyrone Vickery, Richmond, has accepted a $2100 sanction for engaging in a melee at half time of the Round Eight match between Richmond and Melbourne, played at the MCG on Sunday May 19, 2013.

 

Jake King, Richmond, has accepted a $2100 sanction for engaging in a melee at half time of the Round Eight match between Richmond and Melbourne, played at the MCG on Sunday May 19, 2013.
