PORT Adelaide's Chad Wingard has withdrawn from the Virgin Australia International Rules team with a knee complaint.
The All Australian has been replaced by Fremantle small forward Hayden Ballantyne for the one-off Test against Ireland at Croke Park in Dublin on November 21.
Wingard made the decision to withdraw due to bone bruising to his right knee.
Port Adelaide head of high performance Darren Burgess said Wingard needed more rest to be available for the start of the Power's pre-season.
"Chad was on light duties in the pre-season in the hope that the knee would heal and he’d be available for the team, but unfortunately it’s still not where we’d like it to be," Burgess said.

Wingard told portadelaide.com.au it wasn't an easy decision.
"As a club we thought about what’s best for the team (in the) short-term and long-term, and obviously long-term is the priority," he said.
"It’s very disappointing - obviously it would have been a great trip away and a good learning experience for me, but I’m just going to have to play the cards I’m dealt and hopefully get that opportunity again one day."
Australia regained the Cormac Macanallen Trophy with victory in last November's Test in Perth and has again named a squad comprised entirely of All Australian players, under the direction of Alastair Clarkson, Ross Lyon and Chris Scott.
